உன்னால் முடியும்: ஸ்டார் விஜய் டிவி நிகழ்ச்சி

நேர்காணல்கள் எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்தமானவை. தூர்தர்ஷனில் ‘மலரும் நினைவுகள்’ நிகழ்ச்சியை தவற விட்டதில்லை. அப்புறமாக சன் டிவி வந்த பிறகு அலுக்க அலுக்க திரை நட்சத்திரங்கள், டெக்னிஷியன்கள் பேட்டி கிடைத்தது. எப்படி இருந்தாலும் ‘திரும்பிப் பார்க்கிறேன்’ என்று கே விஷ்வநாத் வந்தாலும் சரி… இயக்குநர் கே பாலச்சந்தர் வந்தாலும் சரி… பார்த்து விடுவேன்.

அந்தப் பட்டியலில் சமீபத்திய வரவு – ஸ்டார் விஜய் வழங்கும் ‘உன்னால் முடியும்’.

உலக அளவின் தங்கள் நிறுவனத்தை புகழ் பெற வைத்த நிறுவனர்கள் வருகிறார்கள். நம்ம மொழியில் பேசுகிறார்கள். சந்தையாக்கத்தையும் விற்றுத் தள்ளி வென்ற ரகசியங்களையும் கதைகளையும் பகிர்கிறார்கள். தமிழில் இந்த மாதிரி முயற்சி வரவேற்கத்தக்கது. பலரை ஊக்கப்படுத்தும்.

அமெரிக்காவில் திராவிட கலாச்சாரம்

மதியம் பதினொன்றே முக்கால்.

‘இன்று எங்கே சாப்பிடலாம்?’

‘மினர்வா போகலாமா?’

‘சரி’

நானும் அவளும் என்னுடைய காரில் பயணிக்க ஆரம்பித்தோம்.

‘ஏதாவது இந்தியப் பாட்டு போடேன்’

கொஞ்சம் தர்மசங்கடம். ஐ-பாடில் ‘ஆடுங்கடா என்ன சுத்தி’, ‘கெடா காறி’; தூக்கத்தை விரட்டும் பாடல்கள் எனக்கு உவப்பானவை. அதிர்ஷ்டவசமாக சிடி-யில் ரங்கீலா இருந்தார்.

‘அனிமல் கிங்டம் மாதிரி ம்யூசிக் ஆக இருக்கே? காட்டுவாசி தீமா?’

இல்லை என்று மறுத்தேன். அமெரிக்காவில் இந்திய ப்ரெட்டும், சிக்கன் டிக்கா மசாலாவும் பிடித்த தக்கினியூண்டு இடத்தை, ஆஸ்கார் ரெஹ்மான் கூட பிடிக்க முடியாது. சாரு, ஷாஜி சொல்வதிலும் பாயின்ட் இருக்கிறது.

வழக்கம் போல் பஃபே தேர்ந்தெடுத்தேன்.

அமெரிக்காவில் மதுவருந்தும் பப்களில் மாபெரும் தொலைக்காட்சி திரை இருக்கும். நாலு டிவியும் நாற்புறம் நிறைந்திருக்கும். எல்லாவற்றிலும் ஏதாவது விளையாட்டு காண்பிப்பார்கள். அவர்களுக்குப் போட்டியாக இந்திய உணவகங்களில் பெரிய திரை வைக்கிறார்கள்.

இந்திப் பாடல், தெலுங்கு ஆட்டம், தமிழ் குத்து என்று ஒருங்கிணைப்புடன் தேசிய உணர்வு பொங்க விடுகிறார்கள்.

‘யூ ட்யூபில் உங்க சண்டைக் காட்சி பார்த்தேன். பஞ்சதந்திரக் கதை மாதிரி மேஜிக்கலா இருந்தது. மலைக்கு நடுவில் கயிற்றுப் பாலம். நட்ட நடுவில் ஒருத்தன் ஆக்ட்ரெஸோட விரலப் பிடிச்சுண்டு இருக்கான். இன்னொருத்தன் அவனோட காலைத் தழுவித் தொங்கிண்டு இருக்கான். தீடீர்னு தன்னோட லெக் பீஸை கட் பண்ணிக்கிறான். பாலத்தை அறுத்து பறந்து போய் ஹீரோயினை அந்தப் பக்கம் விடறான். ரொம்ப காமெடியா இருந்துச்சு.’

‘இராவணன்?’

‘தெரியல… ரெண்டு மூணு பார்த்தேன்! எல்லாமே ஒரே மாதிரி இருந்தது. வெரி கன்ஃப்யூஸிங்.’

மணி ரத்தினத்தின் வழுக்கலுக்கு சுகாசினியே காரணம் என்பதை சுருக்கமாக விளக்கினேன்.

‘இதென்ன சாங்? இஸ் இட் தி எக்ஸ்ப்ளாயிடெடிவ் சீக்வென்ஸ்?’

“என் பேரு மீனாகுமாரி” போய்க் கொண்டிருந்தது. ‘அதென்ன exploitative song?’

‘நீதானே சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருந்தாய். ரொமான்ஸ், சோகம், வீரம், ருத்ரம் போன்ற நவரசங்களும் ஒவ்வொரு படத்தில் எட்டு பாடலாக அமையும் என்று… அது போல் இது போல் டான்சிங்?’

‘இது குடும்பப் படம். இது சூப்பர் மேன் பற்றியது. இந்தியாவில் “தெய்வம் மனுஷ ரூபம்” என்னும் தொன்மத்தை பின்பற்று முருகரை அடியொற்றி “கந்தசாமி” என்று யூ செர்டிஃபிகேட்… அதான் G for General Audiences அத்தாட்சி முத்திரையுடன் வெளியான படம்.’

இந்த முறை அவள் ம்ம்ம்ம்.

‘இதென்ன ரோட்டில் யாருமே இல்லை. வழிப் போக்கர்கள் கூட டீக்கா இருக்காங்களே!’

‘கஜினி; அவனுக்கு அஞ்சு நிமிஷம்தான் உலகம் நினைவில் இருக்கும். அதன் பிறகு மறந்து போகும். மெமண்டோ பார்த்திருப்பியே? அதன் முன் தோன்றிய தமிழன். நீ குந்தர் கிராஸ் மாதிரி. ரொம்பக் கேள்வி கேட்கிறே. உனக்கு ஒரு சமூகமே நொந்து நூடில்ஸாய் இருக்குனு புரிய வாய்ப்பேயில்ல. கலைகள் எங்க நாட்டில் இருக்கக் கூடாதா? உனக்கு இது சதைக் காட்சிசாலை. எங்களுக்கு நிர்வாணா!’

தெம்பாய் இன்னொரு நாப்கின் எடுத்து துடைத்தெறிந்தோம்.

திரைப்படம்

Founder of the one reel movement in colloboration with Pyramid Saimira group,  to show 10 minute films before main films in theatres aimed at introducing new themes and new talents to cinema.Directed and produced the first one reel ‘திருமதி ஜேம்ஸ் இப்போது என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும்?‘ featuring actors ரோகிணி and Neelson based on a short story by writer திலீப்குமார். ( december 2007)

Directed the second one reel movement film உள்ளேன் ஐயா featuring actor ‘தலைவாசல்’ விஜய் based on a short story by writer அன்பாதவன் ( february 2008)

Has started a movement for taking cinema directly to home, called கோலம் where the creator and connoisseur directly meet. (2009 august). First digital video movie விசாரணை to be released in July 2010.

Produced several features for all india radio and doordarshan. Scored music for a television short film. Compered a radio programme for one year.conducted interviews with political leaders, film artistes, and scholars for doordarshan.

10 American Comedy Serials

வேலை அதிகமானால், நகைச்சுவை நாடகங்களை மனம் நாடும். உழைக்கும் வாழ்க்கை நசையானால், சுஜாதாதான் எடுக்கத் தோன்றும். ஜெயமோகனைத் தவிர்க்கும். அடுத்தவரின் துன்பியல் நிகழ்வான செய்திகளை சாய்ஸில் விடும்.

இவ்வாறாக ப்ரைவேட் ப்ராக்டிஸ், சி.எஸ்.ஐ., லா அன்ட் ஆர்டர் அடிதடியை கடந்த வருடம் தவிர்த்துவிட்டேன். வாரந்தோறும் விரும்பிய ‘பாஸ்டன் லீகல்’ முடிந்து போனது. அதற்கு பதிலாக பார்க்கத் துவங்கிய சீரியல்களுக்கு சிறுகுறிப்பு.

எனக்குப் பிடித்த தர வரிசைப்படி உள்ளன.

1. The Big Bang Theory

இத்தனை நாள் எப்படி தவறவிட்டேன்? நாலு அறிவாளிகளும் ஒரு அழகியும். a) அறிவியல்காரர்களுக்கு குட்டி பிடிக்கத் தெரியவில்லை. b) அதில் ஒருவன் தேசி என்.ஆர்.ஐ. c) இன்னொருவன் யூதன். d) எதற்கும் ஆராய்ச்சிபூர்வமாக கர்மசிரத்தையாக பதிலளிக்கும் ஹீரோ. எதிர்த்தவீட்டு பருவப்பெண்.

கனஜோர்.

நிகழ்ச்சியின் முடிவில் தயாரிப்பாளர் கம் இயக்குநர் சக் லோர் போடும் ஸ்லைடு மகா அற்புதம். இங்கே கிடைக்கும்.

2. Modern Family

மூன்று குடும்பங்களின் கதை.

பதின்ம வயதில் மகள்; அக்காவின் அழகை வெறுத்து படிப்பில் புலியாக நினைக்கும் தங்கை; இருவருக்கும் பிறகு வந்த குட்டிப் பையன். பக்கத்து வீட்டு ஆன்ட்டியை ஜொள்ளிடும் அப்பா. கணவனின் பிறந்தநாளை கண்டுகொள்ளாத அம்மா.

அந்த அம்மாவின் பெற்றோர் விவாகரத்தானவர்கள். அப்பா பெருந்தனக்காரர். சிறுசு + இளசு இலத்தீன குட்டியை இரண்டாந்தாரமாக, இலவச இணைப்பான டீனேஜ் மகனோடு கொண்டவர்.

அவருடைய இன்னொரு மகன் மூன்றாவது குடும்பம். தற்பால் திருமணம் புரிந்தவர். வியட்நாமில் இருந்து கைக்குழந்தையை தத்தெடுத்தவர்கள்.

மாமனார் x மாப்பிள்ளை; ஓரினச்சேர்க்கையில் நெளியும் தாத்தா; டேட்டிங் போகும் மகளின் ஊரடங்கு; சம்பவங்களுக்கா பஞ்சம்?

எல்லாவற்றிலும் டாப்: யார் பாட்டி? எவர் அக்கா? என்று விநோதமாக அழைக்கும் நேரம்.

3. The Middle

நான் பார்ப்பது மனைவிக்கு பிடிக்காது. மகளிரின் லைஃப்டைம் திரைப்படம் பார்ப்பதற்கு ‘அத்திப்பூக்கள்’ சகித்துவிடலாம்.

இரண்டுக்கும் நடுவாந்தரமாக ஒத்துவருகிறது ‘மிடில்’.

அமெரிக்காவின் நட்டநடுவாந்தர நகரம். இன்டியானா மாகாணம். கார் விற்றால் கமிஷன் பெறும் இல்லத்தரசி. தொழிற்சாலையில் உழலும் குடும்பத் தலைவன். வயசுக்கு வந்த கோளாறு கொண்ட மூத்த மகன். புத்தகப் புழுவாக சகாக்களை ஒதுக்கும் குட்டிப் பயல். இருவருக்கும் இடையே ஆயிரம் கலைகளில் தேர்ச்சி பெற முயலும் மகள்.

அக்கம்பக்கத்தில் தெரிந்த, சொந்த வாழ்வில் சந்தித்த நிஜக் குடும்பங்கள் நினைவுக்கு வருகிறது. வீட்டுக்கு வீடு வாசப்படி என்று ரிசஷனுக்கு ஏற்ற காவியம்.

4. The League

இதுவரை சொன்னது எல்லாமே வயது வந்தோருக்கு மட்டும் உகந்தது என்றாலும், லீக் கொஞ்சம் அதிகப்படி அசைவம்.

கூடைப்பந்து சீஸன் ஆகட்டும்; அமெரிக்க கால்பந்து உற்சவம் ஆகட்டும். அலுவலிலோ அடுக்ககத்திலோ ஆள் சேர்த்து கூட்டணி அமையும். இருக்கும் அணிகளில் இருந்து ஆட்டக்காரர்களை விர்ச்சுவல் ஏலம் எடுத்து ஷாரூக்கான் போல், சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொள்ளலாம். நிஜ ஆட்டங்களில் ஆடுவதைப் பொறுத்து, வெற்றி தோல்வி கணிக்கப்படும்.

இதைப் பின்னணியாகக் கொண்ட களம்.

கணவனைக் கட்டியாளும் மனைவி. தோட்டத்தில் இருந்து பச் பச்சென்று பறித்தது போல் வெட்டிவேரு பிடுங்கிய வாசத்துடன் பிரிந்த தம்பதியர். பால்குடி குழந்தை கொண்டதால் பாலுறவு மறந்த தம்பதியர். தேசிப் பெண்ணை டாவடிக்கும் வழுக்கையன். அக்மார்க் பேச்சிலர். ஆடம்பர பிரம்மச்சாரி.

பரவாயில்லை.

வெகு முக்கியமாக கிடுக்கிப்பிடி செக்ஸ், கொங்கையின் கனம், சவாலில் தோற்றதால் நிர்வாணம் என்று பேசாப்பொருளை பாடுபொருளாக்கியதால் ருசிக்கிறது.

5. 30 Rock

ரொம்ப காலமாகப் பார்த்து வருவதால் போரடித்துவிட்டது. ‘சாடர்டே நைட் லைவ்’ டீமின் சாகசங்கள்.

உங்களுடைய சி.ஈ.ஓ.வை அலெக் பால்ட்வின் நினைவுறுத்தலாம். நியுயார்க் மாந்தருக்கு டினா. ஒவ்வொரு வாரமும் பெருந்தலை எவராவது எட்டிப்பார்ப்பதாலேயே இன்னும் ஈர்க்கிறது.

6. Gary Unmarried

மணவிலக்கு ஆகியபிறகும் ஆதுரத்தோடு காதல் பாராட்டும் முன்னாள் கணவன் – மனைவி. கணவன் பிற பெண்களுக்குத் தூண்டில் போடுவதும், அதன் பின் விவாகரத்தான முந்தையவளுக்காக, இன்றையவளை த்ராட்டில் விடுவதும் வாராந்தர வழக்கம்.

ஒரே மாதிரி அமையும் நிகழ்ச்சியாகி விட்டது தற்போதைய குறை.

என்னவாக இருந்தாலும் ஒருத்தனுக்கு ஒருத்தி என்னும் சிலப்பதிகார பண்பாட்டை மீட்டுருவாக்குவதால் மகத்துவம் அடைகிரது.

7. Better off Ted

இதுவும் மொக்கை டைப்.

பணியிடத்தில் போடப்படும் அடாவடி தீர்மானங்கள், பாலியல் அத்துமீறல்கள், ஆகியவற்றுடன் அகமும் புறமுமாகிய குடும்ப – குழும குழப்பங்களும் போதிய அளவில் கலக்கப்பட்டு தரப்படும்.

இப்பொழுதுதான் முழு சீஸனும், சென்ற வருடத்திய எபிசோடுகளுமாக முழு வீச்சில் இறங்கி இருக்கிறேன். கொஞ்சம் கருப்பு… அதாங்க டார்க் வகையறா. அதற்காக ப்ரூனோ அளவு விகாரமல்ல.

களுக் சிருப்பு வராது. ரத்தக்கண்ணீர் ப்ளேடு நிச்சயம் கிடையாது. ஜோக் புரியாமல் தூக்கத்தில் புரிந்துவிடும் அபாயம் உண்டு.

9.Two and a Half Men

சென்ற ஆண்டுகளில் பார்த்தது. பத்தில் ஒரு ஒடம் தரலாம். இப்பொழுது நிறுத்தியாகி விட்டது.

அண்ணன் – தம்பி. அண்ணன் பணக்காரன். தம்பி ஜீவனாம்சத்தில் வாழ்க்கையைத் தொலைத்து, அண்ணனிடம் அண்டியிருக்கிறான். அண்ணாவுக்கு ‘ஆசை நூறு வகை; வாழ்வில் ஆயிரம் சுவை’. தம்பிக்கு மகன் மட்டுமே.

இதில் வரும் பெண்கள் லட்சணமாயிருந்தது, பார்க்கத் தூண்டியது.

தினந்தோறும் ஜே லீனோ வந்து கழுத்தறுத்ததால் இந்த மாதிரி மொக்கை பார்க்க வேண்டி வரும்.

ஐயா! ஜாலி… ஜே லேனோ நிறுத்தப் போறாங்களாம்… இனிமே, கத்தியின்றி துப்பாக்கியோடு என்.சி.ஐ.எஸ். கொண்டாடலாம்.

கட்டாங்கடைசியாக ஓர் எச்சரிக்கை: Accidentally on Purpose பார்த்து விடாதீர்கள். டீலா/நோ டீலா கூட தாங்கி விடலாம். ஆனால், Knocked Upனினும் அடைந்த வேதனையை நீவிர் தவிர்ப்பீர்.

சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் யாருன்னு கேட்டா?

சன் டிவியில் செய்திகள். சர்வக்ஞர் சிலை திறப்பு விழா. மகள் படித்த புத்தகம் குறித்தும் குமான் குறித்தும் விசாரித்துக் கொண்டே அரைக் கண்ணில் தொலைக்காட்சியிலும் பார்வை. சட்டென்று ‘சூப்பர் ஸ்டார்’ மின்னி மறைகிறார்.

உணர்ச்சி வேகத்தில், ‘அது யாரு தெரியுதா?’ என்று மகளையும் பார்த்தாலே பரவசமாக்குபவரைக் கேட்கிறேன்.

அரை நம்பிக்கையுடன் ‘ரஜினியா?’

‘ஆமாண்டி… ஆமா!’

‘எங்கே?’

DVR இயங்கத் துவங்குகிறது. திரும்ப அந்தக் காட்சியை ஃப்ரீஸ் செய்கிறேன்:

Hannah Montana – The Movie: Review by my 8½ year old daughter

மகளூக்கு கோடை விடுமுறை. தினம் ஒரு கட்டுரை எழுது என்றேன். எப்பொழுதோ சென்ற திரைப்படத்தின் குறிப்புகள். Spelling mistakes are mine; grammar, punctuation are hers.

When we went to the Hannah Montana movie we heard that the movie was not at 2:00. The movie was at 3:00. Next to the AMC theater there was a Dollar Tree. In the Dollar Tree my aunt said we each can get 2 things including a chocolate. My cousin got a sharpie and a scribble pad and a Nestle chocolate. I got a notebook and a pad and dark chocolate.

When we came out of the dollar tree, we saw another shop named Joelle. My aunt said “Why don’t we take a look in?”

When we went in, it was really gorgeous. There were presents, jingles, door hanging stuff, arts and crafts, kitchen supplies, makeup and lots of other stuff. My aunt said we can come another day.

And when it was 3:30 the movie started.

Hannah Montana had a concert. The next day in school she had to go to New York in two weeks for her school music awards which is in the same as grandmas birthday in Tennessee. That day was Miley’s best friends birthday. So she hurried and got her a gift. Then she saw someone taking pictures of her and putting it in the newspaper. He heard about a secret. And then Mileys dad says to her that we are going to New York but they are really are going to Tennessee.

And then Miley gets really mad at her dad and gets out of the car. Her dad says we will race you to grandmas house and then Miley looked at the horses and says OK.

When she tried the horses she kept falling. Then she saw her school teammate and asked him for help. When she went to grandmas house she did not like it because they were singing and if they hear Mileys voice they will know she is Hannah Montana.

Mileys teammate was a cowboy. The next day she again went to the cowboys house. The cowboy asked Miley if they can eat together tomorrow.

When Miley goes home she sees her old relative. Her relative Laura told her the Mayor and other people are having dinner.

“Do you want to have dinner Miley?”

“Yes.”

But then she thought how? ‘I have a dinner with the cowboy.’

But dinner with the Mayor, Miley needs to be Hannah. When it is time for dinner Miley keeps switching. And one time when she was with the mayor she tried to go but her dad stopped her. And then when nobody was looking she quickly went but when she changed, the cowboy was watching.

Now the cowboy is really mad at her. Next week when Miley had a show, she just said I can not do this.

‘Yesterday my dad said you have to pick between one life. The truth is I am really Miley. I have been keeping this secret all along. So now it is your choice if you want me to be normal. Miley or famous Hannah Montana?

Since you all said Hannah Montana, I am Hannah!’

So far Hannah Montana was only a TV series. But, now the first Hannah Montana movie!
