முதலில் என்னுடைய புரிதல்கள்:

ஏறுமுகமாக செல்லும் பங்குச்சந்தையில், லாபம் காண ஏதாவது சாக்கு சொல்ல வேண்டும். ஒரு வருடம் முன்பு 100 டாலருக்கு வாங்கிய பங்கு, இன்று 150-க்கு விற்றுக் கொண்டிருந்தால், அதை விற்றுவிடும் போக்கு வரும். பங்குச்சந்தைக்கு இப்போது ஆடித் தள்ளுபடி.

டாட் காம் கீழே விழுந்தபோது அமெரிக்கப் பொருளாதாரத்தை நிலைநிறுத்தியது வீட்டுச்சந்தைதான். இப்போது வீட்டுச்சந்தை விழும்போது, மற்ற சந்தைகளான எரிபொருள், நுட்பம், போர் போன்றவை கை கொடுக்கும் காலம்.

இந்த மாதிரி அகலக்கால் வைத்த எல்லோரின் கடனும் நம்பகமானது என்று பறைசாற்றி இடைத்தரகர்கள் வங்கிகளையும் வீட்டுக்காரர்களையும் கோர்த்து விட்டார்கள். பதினாறு சதவீத வட்டிக்கு ஆசைப்படும் முதலீட்டாளர்களும் நிதி நிறுவனத்தில் முதலீடு செய்தார்கள். நிதி நிறுவனங்களும், வீடுகள் என்றும் அழியாச் சொத்துதானே, எங்கே ஓடிப் போகப் போகிறது என்று கடன்களாக அள்ளி விட்டார்கள். இப்போது விவாகரத்து, வேலை இழத்தல், குழந்தை பிறத்தல், மணமுடிப்பு என்று இல்லறக் குழப்பங்களும் டைமிங்காக சேர்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

வீட்டுக்கான கடனைத் தொடர முடியாத நிலை. கடன் கொடுத்த வங்கிக்கோ, வீட்டை விற்றால் கூட அசல் கூட கிடைக்காத நிலை. வங்கியில் நிலுவைப் பணம் போட்டவர்களுக்கோ, இருப்பதைப் பறித்துக் கொண்டு தப்பித்து ஓடிப்போகும் பயம். இதையெல்லாம் வெளியில் இருந்து பார்க்கும் முதலீட்டாளருக்கோ, பங்குச்சந்தையை விட்டு விலகி பாதுகாப்பாக ஓய்வெடுக்கும் விருப்பம்.

இந்தியாவிலும் இதன் பாதிப்புகள் தெரியும். இந்திய பங்குச்சந்தையும் வீழ்வது ஒருபுறம். வேலைகளை வெளியேற்றாதே என்னும் கோஷம் இன்னொரு புறம். பெங்களூரு, சென்னை போன்ற இறக்கை கட்டி பறக்கும் ரியல் எஸ்டேட்கள், பறவைக் காய்ச்சல் வந்தது போல் இறங்குமுகமாகும் அபாயம் மறுபுறம்.

இந்தியாவில் இதன் பிரதிபலிப்பைத் தாங்கிக் கொள்ள முடியுமா? வாழ்ந்தே, அனுபவித்தே பழக்கப்பட்ட தலைமுறை. செலவழித்தே கொஞ்சித் திரிந்த சமுதாயம், ஏற்ற இறக்கங்களை சமதளமாக பாவிக்குமா? அல்லது, இந்தியாவின் நடுத்தர வர்க்கத்துக்கு எவ்வித இழப்பும் (தற்போதைக்காவது) ஏற்படப் போவதில்லையா?
